Session formats

Paper presentation

Every presenter has up to 15 minutes for his/her presentation and 5 minutes for questions and discussion. There will be a computer and a projector available for the presentation.

Poster

The posters must be printed on a paper with a maximum size of height 120 cm and width 100 cm. The conference venue has stands for attaching the posters. Every participant introduces his/her work up to 3 minutes.

Work-in-progress

Every presenter has 45 minutes for his/her submission. Give an introduction (max 15 min) of your intentions with the paper you are working on. Two appointed discussants will take on the job to comment (20-25 min). Some time will be left for others to contribute. There will be a computer and a projector available for the presentation.

Data session

Every presenter has 60 minutes for his/her submission. Give a short introduction to the data material (max 10 min), then let the participants in the session engage with the data and with analytic work: reading the transcripts/watching video a couple of times and discussing in pairs. Take a round, ask for comments. The data sessions are carried out in a computer lab.
