Accommodation

Accommodation in Tartu varies from budget-type hostels to full-service hotels. Most of them are in or near the center of the town and the conference venue can be reached by walking. The conference venue is located in the city center.

Here is a list of suggested properties that are situated close to the conference venue and the center of Tartu. Participants book their accommodation individually by contacting the providers directly or using a booking system (e.g. booking.com). The prices indicated here might change depending on availability. Hotels

Hotel Tartu is located directly in the city centre, conveniently close to the bus station and the Tasku shopping centre. It features over 70 modern-style rooms. Single-occupancy rates are approximately €55 per night, including breakfast.  Situated 1,2 kilometres from the conference venue.

Dorpat Hotel is one of the newest in Tartu, situated right on the banks of the Emajõgi River and featuring a small spa. It is adjacent to the bus station and the Tasku shopping center. It has 170 standard rooms with rates starting at around €65 for single room. Situated 1,2 kilometres from the conference venue.

Art hotel Pallas offers comfortable accommodation in the downtown of Tartu. The interior design of the hotel is inspired by the works of the artists from the Pallas School. It is located near the city center, a short walk away form the bus station, Tasku shopping center. Single-occupacy rates start at approximately €55 per night. Situated 800 metres from the conference venue.

Barclay hotel is located in the very heart of Tartu. Single room rates start at €65 per night. Situated 500 metres from the conference venue.

Hotel London is a four-star hotel tuned to clients who value quality, privacy and personal service. The hotel features 60 rooms on four floors overlooking the streets of the Old Town or a quiet yard. Single-occupacy rates start at approximately €75 per night. Situated 500 metres from the conference venue.

Hostels and guesthouses

Terviseks Bed & Breakfast caters for backpackers and travelers by offering mostly mixed-occupancy rooms but also private rooms with an open kitchen, free breakfast and numerous other amenities. It is located right on the Town Hall square. Prices start at €15 per night in a mixed dorm. Situated 500 metres from the conference venue.

Hektor Design Hostel offers a traditional service of hotel with a hostel price. It is located about 1,5 km from the main square, right next to the new heart of Tartu’s creative scenery Aparaaditehas. Prices start at €15 per night in a mixed dorm and €27 in a single room. Looming hostel is an eco-friendly hostel with a unique interior and atmosphere located in the Young Estonian Creativity Center of Tartu, a short walk away from the city center. Situated 1,2 kilometres from the conference venue. Prices start at €15 per night in a mixed dorm.

Tampere maja offers accommodation in the city center of Tartu. Prices start at €52 per night in a single room. Situated 600 metres from the conference venue.

Domus Dorpatensis guest apartments offer accommodation options in the city center of Tartu, right next to the town hall. There are ten different apartments, in each you will find a well-equipped kitchen corner and other amenities for work and recreation. Prices start at €50 per night in an apartment for one person.
